Susanna travelled to Zimbabwe with Ruth Pasi Foundation during Easter 2018 where, together with Laticrete MEA, she sponsored a mosaic workshop with the women of Dotito. "Over 200 women registered, but Ruth and I were only able to acommodate 20," Mills says. "We sang and danced over the beautiful mosaic cross we made together and in the end, it was me who was blessed by my students!"

Class numbers are small, so that I can give you my full attention, as well as the studio space you may need if and when you progress onto a larger mosaic artwork.
New mosaic artists will begin the term by creating a small 25x25cm artwork, where the basic skills required to design and create a mosaic will be learnt. Thereafter, I will turn my attention to those who are experienced, and we'll discuss your ideas and goals for the term. The first class of a new term is always a busy one!
Those who know me and have worked with me since I arrived in Australia, will be aware that it has always been a dream of mine to conduct art classes and workshops from my home studio... but we had to build the studio first ! In 2018 this dream is a reality and I would love to meet you and provide just the right environment to make your creative projects and ideas become an exquisite reality.
- WHAT TO BRING TO A MOSAIC CLASS...
- Shoes: Covered-in toe shoes: no thongs or sandals please.
- An old towel: to catch shards & for grouting.
- Plastic ice-cream tub to practise your cuts in.(Peters' or Aldi ice-cream have the best tubs!)
- Wear 'I don't care' (old) clothes or bring an apron if you're going to grout your work, or you are laying tessera with CBA or silicone adhesives.
- Tools, materials and bases will be available for purchase at my classes and workshops, or you can order a custom base made to your specifications, from the Studio. OR, bring your own base, and let's have a look.
