Mosaic Artist Classes Made for You
Susie's Studio is now offering various classes for students of every level. At the beginner’s level, we offer lessons to skill you up and get started with a small mosaic plaque. Intermediate and advanced lessons are available for mosaic artisans wishing to break away from the basics and into more experimental work.

Fall under the soothing spell of making mosaics and be inspired by your classmate's artworks in progress while being artistically mentored by Susanna Mills- a professional, practising visual artist. Weekly Mosaic Classes in 2021 are on TUESDAY mornings or evenings and WEDNESDAY mornings- at Susie's Studio, conveniently next door to Galston Village. Limited places per class are available, so book now to secure yourself a spot in Term 1.

Customers are encouraged to commit to as long a period as possible, because creating mosaic artwork is a slow and methodical process, requiring a consistent and focused approach to finish it and thereby learn. For new customers, once you have learnt the basic skills during your first classes, allow yourself time to simply relax and enjoy mastering the process, and the company of fellow enthusiasts !

8 week BYO mosaic courses ($275*)

AD-HOC, casual day attendance is by prior arrangement only due to the limited space available in my studio and cost $50pp/ per class/day materials excl. 8-week course customers will be given seating priority.

*Mosaic Materials are not included in the 8 week BYO course.

*Use of studio tools and adhesives is complimentary. There is also a bountiful bucket of free, 'orphan tiles' for you to scratch through. However, it is expected that you will ultimately purchase mosaic materials from the Susie's Studio shop- or byo.

ONE DAY WORKSHOPS: I would love to host a mosaic workshop for your group in my artist studio! Workshop-Specific Mosaic materials are included in mosaic workshops. A minimum of four attendees is required for a mosaic workshop to go ahead. Contact me to discuss your desired outcomes.

MOSAIC MOJO SHOP: Susie's Studio boasts a small, but excellent selection of competitively priced mosaic tools, Ezarri tiles, Bisazza tiles, Ceramic tiles, Shell, Glass drops, millie fiori, beads, drops, pebbles and unique laser cut interior or exterior mosaic bases to create your dream artwork. Cash or card payments are accepted at the studio. (You can also browse and buy some lovely mosaic artist-curated mosaic materials via the online store on my website if you can’t make it to classes).
MOSAIC BASES: Laser cut interior or exterior mosaic base shapes to create your dream artwork. Custom made mosaic bases can be ordered and built to your specifications by Susie's Studio.
Why not shop for your mosaic projects while seeing a class in progress on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, or by prior arrangement? Can't get out to gorgeous Galston ? Browse and purchase mosaic tiles online instead, via the susies-studio.com website store and it will be shipped directly to your address- or save on shipping fees and arrange to pick up.
